Ecolateral offers a practical and experience based approach to training organisations and individuals in sustainable design and construction. Building on the basic principles of sustainability, our trainers and training courses also address building science, land appreciation, material performance, solar passive design, waste management, water and energy rationalisation and marketing opportunities. Drawing on our expert knowledge, academic qualifications and practical experience, customised courses can be designed and written to address the specific c needs of each organisation.

Ecolateral staff have presented at private education sessions, seminars, industry events and conferences. We are available on request to present at your event. John Moynihan, our Director, has received several awards recognising his contribution to sustainability in the built environment including the Premier’s Award in 2004.

Ecolateral Director, John Moynihan has been training the construction industry in all aspects of sustainability for over twenty years. He is the author of a number of training programs, including HIA’s GreenSmart program, which is the foremost training tool for the residential construction industry in Australia.
