Green Star

Australia’s only voluntary, holistic sustainability rating system for buildings, fitouts and communities.

Ecolateral have experienced Green Star Accredited Professionals

Green Star is a national, voluntary environmental rating system that evaluates and accredits the environmental design and construction of buildings and communities. It was developed to provide a benchmark for the measurement of built environment sustainability and to recognise environmental leadership.

The successful application of Green Star is a combination of experience and knowledge. An experienced Green Star Accredited Professional, such as our team at Ecolateral, can deliver direction and analysis of the best approach towards maximising the return on investment for the client through the architect.

Ecolateral have used the Green Star rating system since 2010 and have a strong history of delivering and supporting Green Star rated buildings including flagship projects such as:

  • + UQ’s Global Change Institute
  • + Sustainability Learning Centre in Tasmania
  • + Australia’s first Green Star Industrial Pilot Rating (at Trade Coast Central)
  • + Australia’s first Green Star Industrial V1 rating (at Trade Coast Central)
  • + Australia’s first Green Star Public Building Pilot rating (at the Corso at North Lakes)

The input of an experienced Green Star Professional from the conceptual stage of the project is crucial to the ultimate success of the rating. We are accredited and experienced in the Green Star Design & As Built, Green Star Performance and Green Star Communities tools. Our director is a Green Star assessor for the Green Building Council of Australia.
